Development at the mouth of Collier Bay. Coconut Island is shown at lower left

Development at mouth of Collier Bay. Hideaway Beach width remains unchanged. Sand Dollar Island increases in size. Coconut Island increases in size.  Large sand deposits at mouth of Big Marco Pass

Extensive canal work & development at Isle of Capri and continued development at mouth of Collier Bay Hideaway Beach width in slightly wider in some areas. Sand Dollar Island size remains unchanged. Coconut Island increases in size. Increased sand deposits at mouth of Big Marco Pass


1974
Development of SW tip at Isle of Capri and continued development at mouth of Collier Bay. Development of Spinnaker Dr near Tiger Tail. Sand Dollar Island has disappeared. Coconut Island decreases in size. Decreased sand deposits at mouth of Big Marco Pass

1989
Development of SW tip at Isle of Capri. Development of surrounding Collier Bay. Sand Dollar Island has increased in size. Coconut Island decreases in size. Increased sand deposits at mouth of Big Marco Pass
1993
Hideaway Beach development. Sand Dollar Island has broken up. Coconut Island remains the same size. The First time historic Beach widths are changed at Hideaway Beach.


2003
Extensive Development & wetland loss. Coconut Island has all but disappeared. Hideaway Beach width is varied. Vegetation growth on Sand Dollar Island. Widening of Big Marco Pass mouth.
